Body Condition Check

Our feeding calculator is a great place to start, but it’s important to also physically check in with your pal. Obesity is one of the leading causes of pet health issues worldwide and can shorten their life expectancy significantly. A regular body condition check will tell you if they’re in top notch shape, or need to lay off the treats for a while!

He Just Loves It

He just loves it! He tried other brands and he hardly ate it.

Dinner time saved!

When we first brought home Ajax as a puppy, he was the definition of a fussy eater. He’d sniff his bowl, give us the side-eye, and walk off like he’d been offered cardboard. We tried everything from “premium” kibble to home-cooked meals, but nothing stuck for long in a way that was completely sustainable. The Animals Like Us 50/50 Beef suddenly made dinner time no longer a negotiation anymore. Now he actively brings his topple toys or bowls at 5pm on the dot every day and barks until he is served. The freeze-dried chunks are the perfect mix of texture and flavour for a picky dog with high standards, and they have become high-value treats for walks and training. Athena, on the other hand, would probably eat a shoe if we let her. But even she seems to know this stuff is a cut above. While Ajax savours and takes his time with dinner, Athena throws it back in a flash, bowl polished clean, and that “is there more?” look every single time. If Ajax doesn’t pay attention, she’ll actively try trick him out of his. I like that it’s real ingredients I can actually recognise, and it feels good knowing both dogs are getting solid nutrition whether I serve it as-is or mixed through with additional raw vegetables and organs. Ajax finally eats without hesitation, and Athena gets a meal worthy of her enthusiasm. Win-win.

Fussy no more

She is very fussy but doesn’t reject the chicken or beef. Taken us a long time and money to find food she likes.
