Body Condition Check

Our feeding calculator is a great place to start, but it’s important to also physically check in with your pal. Obesity is one of the leading causes of pet health issues worldwide and can shorten their life expectancy significantly. A regular body condition check will tell you if they’re in top notch shape, or need to lay off the treats for a while!

Hetfield (Doggy) Loves This

Hetfield (doggy) loves this. He is a fussy old man, but has really taken to this food. I also feel happy giving him good food.

Not an ad!

It sounds like an ad read but genuinely, she’d been a picky eater the entire time we had her (about an entire year) until we put her on Animals Like Us. Feeding times were so hard for us and we must have spent hundreds of dollars swapping foods and having her enjoy them for a couple of days tops before she’d change her mind about them. We tried following a trainer’s advice and didn’t feed her anything but her kibble but she went on a hunger strike and refused to eat for a couple of days until we caved. I remember getting to the point of soaking her kibble in gravy and warm water before mashing it down into a paste. She didn’t even like wet food that much, and even if she did, it was way too expensive to keep her on it permanently. I noticed she’d at least always enjoy the dehydrated treats, and she would always take some chicken breast so as a final hail mary I swapped her onto Animals Like Us. Its amazing how well she eats now, you have no idea the relief I felt watching her simply eat her food. She’s not gotten tired of it yet (two years and counting, knock on wood!) and we’re so incredibly grateful to Animals Like Us for keeping her happy, healthy, and well fed 🙂
